Vision
A couple things that have come up the past few days are the power of prayer and the power of hearing God speak. Healthy relationships are never one-way streets. They don't work well with just one person listening and never speaking, and they don't work well with one person speaking and never listening. Prayer works the same way because it is a relationship more than anything else. Talking to God isn't just talking at, it is talking with. You talking and listening to God, and God talking and listening to you. When that relationship is developed it unlocks some incredible things in our souls and is able to strike to the heart of issues and make miraculous changes in our lives. I hope you are taking the time to be honest and vulnerable with God, and also being quiet enough to hear Him, and notice Him. No, you might not hear an audible voice, but you can grow in your ability to notice Him. It can be kind of like the awareness that the humidity or temperature in a room has changed, or a simple clarity or peace that settles on you. That kind of relationship changes lives. |
Wins
1. Our building team is preparing for a work day, but the team has already been busy working on projects here and there, with Wes (the department head) actively getting people involved in projects! 2. One of our teens is now ready not simply to help with Konnect Kids but to start leading the Bible Adventure Kids! Plus, we need to split one group of kids into two groups because there are so many of them! 3. With the Fall rhythm starting again I am starting to have deeper conversations with people in our church, and just this week I have been able to have two incredible conversations around the influence of the Holy Spirit and the freedom He brings to us. Really incredible conversations! |

Sin's SpiralExplaining Romans - Sunday, September 7, 2025 When we feel like we have gone down a path so far that it startles us, we sometimes turn around and think, "how did I even get here?" It's hard to nail down where we even started down those paths and it seemed so natural to continue following it. That's what sin does. When we read the letter Paul wrote to the church in Rome we see that he lays out the path sin takes us on, and he pinpoints what starts it all. Sin always pushes the boundaries Romans 1:21-32 For more infomation visit:
