What is God up to in your life? 

That's what you really want to pay attention to.

Asking God to intervene, sharing your thoughts and feelings with Him, and interceding on behalf of others is all super important in our conversations with God and our journey of faith, but what we really need to do is get on board with what He is up to.

What is He already doing?

What is He setting up?

What does He want you to know?

What does He want to say to you?

That's where the miracles happen.

1.  AWC - We have 17 teens signed up for Encounter (youth rally at Kingswood University), with teens from Amherst and Truro going!

2.  Connection - The livestream is back up and working!!

3. AWC - I had an incredible meeting with our ministry leaders on Sunday, with great ideas shared, great feedback and insight, and a growing sense of synergy and empowerment for the teams they lead.

4. Connection - I felt like the people at Connection on Sunday were really open to what God had to say and what He was doing during the service. Even with how hard of a message it was, it seemed like our church was listening and not fighting against it.

Family is so important to many of us. We want good things for our family and we want our family members to be good people. Yet, it seems like we are always on the edge of our families falling apart. So we hold on tighter, and it still doesn't change. If you want to take your family back from teh brink, Christ needs to be in charge of you and your family.

If Christ isn't leading you AND your family, they will get lost.

Tuesdays at 7pm

Join us as we develop the practice of prayer.

Learn how to hear God better.

Learn how to pray more effectively.

Spend time in silence, at the altar, or with a group praying.

Special focus will be given on the last Tuesday of each month to Missions and our Global Partners.

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. Participants may be asked to cover the cost of workbooks, but if for some reason you are unable to cover that cost, you can still participate. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Join us at the West Highlands Elementary Gymnasium for games and lessons designed to help kids grow in their confidence and character development. 

For kids in Grades Primary to 6

5:45 - 6:45 pm

We will be starting to collect candy and looking for volunteers for this year's Trunk or Treat happening on Oct 25th!

2-4pm

Konnect the Tots is a playgroup for parents and kids that takes place every Thursday from 9:30-11:30 at Amherst Wesleyan Church (6 Maltby Ct). There are toys and activities set up in the basement of the church for kids to play with! Everyone is welcome! (Enter through the parking lot side door!)

When we update and properly maintain our facility it allows us to do more ministry longer.
