Vision
First, check out the Christmas events that are happening below, you won't want to miss them. We want all-hands-on-deck with these events, especially Christmas Eve! Be inviting your friends, family and coworkers to celebrate with us that night! People are particularly open to the idea of Jesus this time of year, and it is a moment we need to use to show them just how worthy He is. Second, we won't be having a service on Sunday Dec 25th (Christmas Day). As I discussed this with the staff and LBA (Local Board of Administration) we felt that this was the most appropriate move as we consider how busy Christmas Day can be, the number of volunteers required to run a Sunday service, as well as the load our volunteers carry. This doesn't mean you shouldn't celebrate Jesus that day, it means we all have the opportunity focus on showing our family and loved ones what Jesus has done in us.

Wins
1. We held our annual ministry for those grieving during the holidays and made a number of meaningful connections that even led some to show up on Sunday to search boldly! 2. I have been impressed by a number of our leaders who have an incredible willingness to change if it's needed to make something more effective! They are doing this with their small groups, their ministry projects and their own lives! 3. Many people in our church have been asked to serve lately, and the response has been so strong! You are so willing to serve and are even searching for ways to serve! |
