Good Friday service is coming up on March 29th at 6pm.

Easter Sunday is March 31st.

Then on Sunday April 7th we will be having another extended service, 10:30am-Noon. Konnect Kids will be extended too.

1. We got word last week that we are receiving a grant from the Government of Nova Scotia's CFIP (Community Facilities Improvement Program) for about $33 000 to help cover the cost of our roof repair last summer!

2. Pastor Sheryl has officially accept a job offer to be the Interim Lead Pastor of the Truro Wesleyan Church starting July 15th!

3. There are situations arising in our church that could be dealt with by ignoring issues, but instead people are engaging the conflict and using it to grow in maturity and to build a more Christ-like community!

4. We are hearing a number of volunteers thinking about their roles critically and with wisdom about where God wants them to be in this next season. They aren't willing to just haphazardly volunteer, they want to seriously follow God's will for their lives.

When temptation hits, we often do mental gymnastics to dance with it. We justify it, we dream about it, and we go back and forth on it. Jesus doesn't do that though. When He was tempted in the desert, He simply remembered scripture, God's Word, and let that define what He knew and what He should do. Maybe we need to stop dancing with the devil too.

Do you need to get out of the house so you can talk to other adults? Do your kids need to get out of the house so they can play with other kids and have some space to run around?

Come check out our casual play group on Thursdays. There is no agenda and parents are responsible for their own children. Our basement space is a large open space and perfect for letting kids run and play together!
