Vision
Are you hearing God speak? Are you following His leading when He shows you what you need to do? This isn't just about major life decisions or ministry. God is speaking to you about what you need in your life to be healthy, content, righteous, full! I was told last year that when we feel a "negative" emotion, we should pause to identify what it is and what it shows us we need. Hunger means we need food. Lonliness means we need companionship. Sadness means we need comfort. When we go to God with those needs, what is He saying is the path to them? How does He want to give them to you? Are you following Him there? Are you hearing Him? It's a Foundation IssueWhat's Your Foundation? - Sunday, January 7, 2024 We have seen some pretty big storms in the past few years and seen pictures of homes or businesses collapsing due to coastal errosion and even being washed out to sea. They may have been well built, but what they were built on was suscetible to the wind and the waves. We often come up with ideas at the beginning of the year of things we should work on to be better, but those things are usually things that are susceptible to the wind and waves of life. Jesus gives us a clear statement of how to avoid collapse, and it has to do with our foundations. Matthew 7:24-27 What you build your life on has to be stable enough to support your life throughout your life.
