Vision
Well, it seems like the pandemic and the isolation keeps going... We remember tragedies, we plan for Bubbles just to have them burst, we watch the news and wait. It is exhausting. Sometimes I think, "how much longer?" The Israelites were in exile for 70 years. There were times when they wondered how much longer they could handle it, how much longer they had to endure. God had made a promise though and He was faithful. He brought them home. He rebuilt their city. He got them through the exile. The books of Daniel and Esther share stories about the Israelites living in exile and how God got them through it despite the challenges and threats. The trials we are facing today won't last forever. They won't. Hang in there. Stick together. And remember how faithful God is. |
Wins
1. Through the lessons Michael has been sharing with the youth, they are seeing teens surrender the things that are keeping them from sharing the Good News of Jesus with others! 2. Pastor Sheryl is continuiing to disciple people and recently had a conversation with someone about how committed they are to Sundays services and volunteering, and it is affecting their family in big ways! 3. I have had a couple conversations lately where people from AWC took the initiative to have a very honest conversation with me, even seeking reconciliation! Their willingness to be vulnerable, give feedback, be honest, and to seek unity was incredible! |
