Vision
The church business year ends on April 30th and that means we have to do all sorts of reports, updates, reviews and meetings. It also means we need to make decisions about what we plan to do next year. As I have been reflecting on those things, and maybe stressing over them, I've noticed a few things I wanted to share with you today. Our church leadership has never been stronger. I'm not talking about your pastors, I'm talking about the number of volunteer leaders we have and how incredibly high capacity they are! High capacity doesn't even do it justice. They are wise, insightful, passionate, selfless, creative, driven, sensitive to God's voice and just keep getting better and better. Our youth ministry and kids ministry are starting to build momentum and are on the edge of incredible influence. From the new programs, changes that have been made, the volunteers and people God is putting in place, things are just coming together! Not only youth and kids though, we have a growing group of young adults that are becoming more and more engaged in their faith and in serving. I have had so many people tell me in the past month that they have felt God stirring something in our church. That's a great thing to know, but what really gets me excited is that all those people are sensing God speak to them! More and more people are becoming aware of His presence and are able to sense His leading and voice! We have a lot of work to do, and we need to change and grow. I need to change and grow a lot! But, it is becoming more and more obvious to me that we are on the right track and we must persevere! |
Wins
1. The Coffee House on Friday was fantastic! The place was quite full, the music was excellent, the food was great, and seeing so many volunteers serving with joy created such a perfect atmosphere! 2. A volunteer noticed something special when she was in one of the schools this week! She saw a student from our kids ministry sitting at their desk reading their Bible! 3. We are having more connections come from our Konnect Play program! Other than the website, this is one of the key places people are interacting with us for the first time! |
