I've had a few things on my mind lately, that I thought I would share with you.

1. Finding the right staff person for Truro, and getting a plan put together.

2. The burdens, questions and needs of people in our church and how we need to be praying for miracles to happen and looking for how God can use us to support each other.

3. Church finances and praying that they remain strong.

4. What is next for AWC and how God seems to be unleashing something big here.

5. Remembering to enjoy and appreicate the good things God has placed around me.

1. We sent 32 students to OneCon this past weekend.  OneCon is a huge youth rally in Moncton where there were 3700 students/teens gathered to hear the Word of God and worship Him! You helped send them there!

2. I met with someone this week who is considering changing churches, and it was such an incredibly mature, honoring conversation. There were no hard feelings, no animosity, just mutual respect and a desire to see them plugged in where God will be able to make them thrive! Parting ways is rarely an easy thing, but seeing the life God might bring through it is amazing.

3. I've had a couple conversations this past week where people needed to face some hard changes in their lives and they didn't shy away from it, but instead saw God work in their obedience to change their situation and change their hearts!

We all want what's best for our kids but sometimes our pursuit for what's best can miss the BEST God has for them. Hannah understood this which is why she gave Samuel to God. We can trust God with the outcome and destiny of our children's lives.

Everything must go, for FREE! It's like a yardsale, but everything is free and in decent condition!

Donations can be dropped off at the church starting June 1-6.

Membership Class

If you'd like to know what the Wesleyan Church believes and are wondering how to become an official voting member of the church, this class is for you.

You don't need to be a member to attend or even serve at AWC.

Voting on church decisions and taking on certain leadership roles in the church do require you to be an official member. This helps to ensure that we as a church are maintaining our core values and beliefs.

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Konnect the Tots is a playgroup for parents and kids that takes place every Thursday from 9:30-11:30 at Amherst Wesleyan Church (6 Maltby Ct). There are toys and activities set up in the basement of the church for kids to play with! Everyone is welcome! (Enter through the parking lot side door!)
