There are three elements I want you to consider today about our mission.

1. We need to be around those who are lost if we want to show them Jesus.

2. We need to show them Jesus if we want them to see Jesus.

3. We need to invite Jesus into that work, or He might not be there, and if He isn't there, no one is going to see Him.

Connect with people outside our church, like coworkers, friends, family, people other parents or colleagues. Invite them to church and our events, but more than that, care about them, love them, care for their wounds, show them grace, help them taste and see that God is good. Pray for God to fill you with His Holy Spirit, and for the Holy Spirit to open the doors of connection and relationship that save lives.

1. We launched our youth group for the Fall and had 24 teens show up for the first night! 

2. We held a Game Cafe on Sunday and I was finally able to get some friends to attend! That's the point of events like this; getting those outside our church to be with us inside the church.

3. Youth group is happening on Fridays instead of Sunday this year because a volunteer voiced their opinion to Pastor Brad, he listened, did the hard work of asking hard questions and getting feedback from all the key groups of people and then making the change. It is amazing to have volunteers being open and honest with their leaders and having a leader who is willing to listen carefully! Well done Youth Ministry!!!!!

So often we look at life and make a determination about what we should do, but we have a feeling that it's not quite right even though we don't really know what we should do. It's like looking at a picture upside-down. With Christ, we don't have to wonder anymore though!

Join us at the West Highlands Elementary Gymnasium for games and lessons designed to help kids grow in their confidence and character development. 

For kids in Grades Primary to 6

Starting Sept 20th

We will spend part of our time together digging into the Bible, Theology and Practical Skills of Faith. We will spend the rest of the evening in focused prayer for each other, our community and listening for God to speak.

I hope this will become a weekly priority for everyone.

This study replaces our small groups for this year only.

Do you need to get out of the house so you can talk to other adults? Do your kids need to get out of the house so they can play with other kids and have some space to run around?

Come check out our casual play group on Thursdays. There is no agenda and parents are responsible for their own children. Our basement space is a large open space and perfect for letting kids run and play together!
