Vision
This Sunday is VIP Sunday, meaning it is a perfect time for visitors to check us out! It is also a perfect time for you to invite your friends and family to check out a service. Everyone attending will get a name tag when they come in, that way everyone is on an even playing field, no one will stand out as new and everyone will be able to easily tell what someone's name is. This also helps you have conversations with people you have been avoiding because you forgot their name! There will be a Photobooth downstairs after the service, if anyone would like to get some fun pictures, along with free cookies for everyone! This isn't just about a big day to boost attendance, this is really about creating opportunities that help us reach out and draw people into the Kingdom of God so they can be saved and transformed. This is important work. Lives are at stake here. |
Wins
1. Our Building and First Impressions Teams have been hard at work assembling our new coffee counter in the lobby! We used a lot of components we had pulled from the apartment when we renovated it for Pastor Brad, and we had a bunch of highly skilled volunteers put in their time to do the new construction. It looks great! 2. We gave our youth ministry a goal to encourage the teens to invite their friends to their gatherings, and this past Sunday they met that goal! That's the teens themselves doing the inviting, not Pastor Brad! 3. We are seeing more people are coming out to events and services, instead of giving in to fear! |

Hearing TrumpetsFinding Jesus in the Jewish Feasts - Sunday, April 30, 2023 The Jewish Feast of Trumpets is also known as the Day of Judgment. It starts off with examining your life and then spending the next 10 days trying to do enough good stuff to outweigh the bad. The Jews miss how Jesus fits into this though, and they miss that you can't do enough good to outweigh the bad. Jesus is the only solution, and when the trumpets blast at the end, judgement will come. Numbers 29:1 & 1 Thessalonians 4:16 Judgement is coming and now is the time to prepare for it.
