Good Friday is only a week away!

I remember Good Friday three years ago, we had to do the entire thing on video because we were all trapped in our homes! The same with Easter Sunday that year, what a weird experience. It both seems like it was forever ago, and also just a few days ago. Even a year ago this time we were still dealing with some lock-down measures and limitations due to the pandemic. There are still areas where these limitations exist, like in hospitals. It feels like the pandemic is behind us, sort of...

I know I am still feeling its effects. I still feel some pain when I think of how weird Good Friday was three years ago. Yet I also feel and see the blessings that God is bringing right now, how He is taking us to a new place and doing new and good things.

Good Friday expresses the reality of the pain and the victory. Christ entered the pain to bring us the victory!

On Good Friday we don't get one without the other. We don't just have pain, and we don't just have victory, we have both.

1. We held our Game Cafe last week and raised some money for our youth's trip to One Conference! We also saw several people attend who don't normally come to our Sunday services! It's great to see that you are inviting your friends to come out! 

2. We have purchased a new piano, and have it now set up on the platform, no more noisy keys! We were even able to sell the old piano to get a small amount back!

3. As we have started doing our casual kids play group on Thursdays we are seeing growing connections and a welcoming environment to invite families who aren't part of our church to connect!

Sometimes we get stuck looking backwards at our past, whether it is recently past or a long-time past doesn't matter.  The Israelites faced the same issue and God gave them very clear direction to stop doing that and to move onto what He was promising them! We need to remember our past, but it's time to stop being trapped by it.

It's time to move on from your past because you're not there anymore.

Join us after service on April 2nd as we pray for our Good Friday and Easter services.

You are also encouraged to fast over the lunch hour that day.

We want to cover these services with prayer and commit them to Christ. The enemy doesn't want God's kingdom to be advanced, and the enemy is on the prowl. So, let's go to battle.

As we remember the sacrifice of Christ we will also celebrate His victory through Baptism!

Join us EASTER SUNDAY for a Resurrection EGG HUNT.  There will ge games, candy, and lots of EGGS but most important we will celebrate that Jesus is ALIVE! (Kids ages 2-12)

Are you a teen in Grades 6-12? Then this event is for you. Our goal is to see teens grow and transformed in their faith. Join us for a night of worship and inspiring preaching from Guest Speaker Barney Greene. We will also have carnival games, food, and a dodgeball tournament.

Do you need to get out of the house so you can talk to other adults? Do your kids need to get out of the house so they can play with other kids and have some space to run around?

Come check out our casual play group on Thursdays. There is no agenda and parents are responsible for their own children. Our basement space is a large open space and perfect for letting kids run and play together!
