Vision
I just want to give a shout-out to all the incredible people in our church. You are doing some incredible work leading and serving in church ministries, but you are also blowing me away with your Christ-likeness, talent, sacrifice, generosity and passion in all the things you do outside of "church things." I have thought to myself several times over the past few weeks, "I am so thankful for such an amazing church made up of such amazing people!" You go above and beyond the call of duty. You sacrifice and give and serve. You do your work and do it with incredible excellence. You don't look at your pastors and just want more and more from them, but actually want to be there for us when we need help too! You set the example in our community and show people who you follow day by day. I'm not saying you're perfect, I'm saying that God is doing incredible things in and through you all. You really are down-to-earth people following Jesus in down-to-earth ways! |
Wins
1. Our Seniors Lunch continues to grow! They actually emailed me and said that we need more chairs if we are going to fit everyone in! 2. Our Youth continue to set the pace in inviting their friends to church! They should inspire us all to reach out like they are! 3. We held our Pizza with the Pastors on Sunday, and I have been able to connect with a few other new families to our church lately! Some of the things I keep hearing are, "You guys have a great kid's program." "I really appreciate how down-to-earth you all are. Genuinely good people." "I like how Biblical your messages are, and appreciate we're allowed to laugh!" |

Chained by MistakesGetting Past Your Past - Sunday, March 5, 2023 It's hard to move forward in life when the things from our past keep holding onto us. Sometimes they feel like chains that we carry or simply trip us up. Most of us can easily think of sins and mistakes that we have made that we feel are too big or too many to ever actually leave behind. Size and quantity of sin in our pasts has never been a roadblock for Jesus to bring forgiveness and freedom though! Luke 7:36-50 The first step to freedom is being forgiven.
