Vision
We held our Annual Business Meeting last night. We reviewed reports from our ministries and implemented the new budget for 2022-2023. Our income was higher than expected last year, but so were our expenses. Considering inflation, and that our minisries will be fully operational this year (hopefully) we have set a higher budget for this new business year. We have also set as a goal to bring in $5000/year for the next 4 years to help save up the needed income to replace the church roof. You can read the full report by following the link below: It is imperative to remember that what we are doing here is not a casual social organization. We do not exist for recreation. We are a base of operations for the war effort here in Cumberland County. We are at war for the souls of our families and neighbours. We are at war for the lost. |
Wins
1. The Work Day went great! There were a number of volunteers that showed up to serve, and the individual leaders did a great job organizing the work done! 2. The Games Night also went really well! We are finding a rythm to these events and are excited about them picking up momentum! 3. Our Ministry Leaders continue to grow and wrestle with hard questions about who we are and what we do. They are asking the questions and talking about the things that create better alignment and stronger unity in our church! |

It's Time to FightBuilding Better Relationships - Sunday, May 15, 2022 We all have history with messy and problematic conflict in our relationships. Whether it is how we act or how those around us act, most of us do it badly! We either become a bull in a china shop or we run away and hide. Neither of those strategies helps. If we could do it differently though, we would find our relationships get better! We need healthy conflict to sharpen our relationships. Proverbs 27:17
