KONNECT Kids is held in the large, open, bright basement of the AWC building. When you arrive at the front door our greeters will meet and direct you to our KONNECT Kids area. The registration table is open at 10:30 and is your first stop.
Registration:
Because we value safety, we will need some information when you arrive for the first time. We will ask for: Adult/Guardian’s Name, Child’s Name and Birthday, Address, Phone Number, and Any Special Instructions (Allergies, Etc.).
Fun:
Your child will then be issued a name tag and assigned to a small group according to their age/grade. You will be invited to check out the games and activities in our large open space. This free time before service allows time for kids (and parents) to connect with leaders and each other.
Large Group:
KONNECT Kids’ service begins at 10:30am. Kids gather for fun upbeat songs and interactive activities that help them understand that day’s “Bible Point.” With video lessons our leaders help kids understand biblical truths in fun and relevant ways that make sense to kids. Ages 2 to grade primary gather with leaders in their own age appropriate area.
Small Groups:
Kids will finish up the morning with kids their own age and their small group leader. During the small group time, kids will discuss the day’s “Bible Point” and apply it to their everyday lives.
Children Under Age 2
We encourage families to bring kids under the age of 2 years old to our Adult Service (Upstairs). When children need their own space (or a diaper change) you are invited to use our Nursery. Toddlers can also join our preschool program downstairs when accompanied by an adult.
