The Christmas Wrap-Up is happening this Saturday at 10am. There are a number of projects to choose from, so I hope you will join us at the church at 10am and join one of them! We want everyone to be part of this great day of blessing our community. Many of you have already signed up to purchase groceries, presents or have given donations towards this work!!

Christmas Eve is also coming up quickly! We aren't doing a normal morning service that day, instead there will be a casual gathering (by "casual" I mean it is not run by the staff, but rather organized by volunteers and the set-up and tear-down should be handled by those who attend) with breakfast provided that morning, and then we will have two Christmas Eve Candlelight Services that evening. You can attend the Candlelight Service at 5pm or 6:30pm. These are a great opportunity to invite friends and family to hear about Jesus and feel His presence!

1. Pastor Brad has challenged the teens saying that if they get their attendance up to 30, they can shave his head (he just wants to be more like his boss). They had 29 out last friday!

2. We had one of the teens lead the closing prayer on Sunday, which was such an incredible statement of how these teens are growing in their faith and finding a place in the Body of Christ!

3. The Online Bake Auction, run by Sharon Taylor, raised over $500 for the Christmas Wrap-Up!

4. We are hearing more stories about how you have been inviting people to AWC, and they are actually coming! 

All that is necessary for hope to exist is the belief that something is possible. It doesn't need to be a fact. It doesn't need to be a certainty. It doesn't need to be likely. It could actually be very very UNlikely! But if it is possible, no matter how slim a chance, there can be hope. Only when something is absolutely impossible is hope dead. 

Is it possible that Jesus came to the Earth as a baby and is the Son of God? Is it possible that He died and rose back to life? Is it possible that God loves you and wants to save you? Is is possible that He will save you? All you need is the belief that these things are possible, and you can have HOPE!

Annual Christmas Wrap-Up

Join us as we serve our community through a number of projects including:

- Packing Food Boxes for Those in Need
- Free Gift-Wrapping
- Gifts for Families in Need
- And Other Support Projects 

Meet at the church at 10am to volunteer and help with one of our many projects.

If you're interested in getting your presents wrapped, you will find us at the Amherst Centre Mall and Dayle's Grand Market.

Families are invited to join us for a fun Christmas Party where we’ll build a Gingerbread nativity, play games, sing songs, and learn about the First Christmas ever. It’s going to be a BASH!

Space is Limited, Pre-Registration is Required.

Amherst Celebrates Christmas Eve at Amherst Wesleyan Church

Services at 5pm & 6:30pm

Special Music, Classic Christmas Carols, Snacks & Glow Sticks for the Kids, a Dramatic Presentation, a Candle-Light Closing, and all in 45 minutes or less (Or your money back! Jk, it’s free.)

There won't be a normal service Sunday morning on Christmas Eve, but there will be a casual gathering with breakfast provided.

A night of worship. Songs, Prayer, and creative elements will be used to set aside time to simply focus on God and give Him glory.

Join us at the West Highlands Elementary Gymnasium for games and lessons designed to help kids grow in their confidence and character development. 

For kids in Grades Primary to 6

Do you need to get out of the house so you can talk to other adults? Do your kids need to get out of the house so they can play with other kids and have some space to run around?

Come check out our casual play group on Thursdays. There is no agenda and parents are responsible for their own children. Our basement space is a large open space and perfect for letting kids run and play together!
