This Sunday we will be handing out a short survey that will help us build a Small Group ministry that fits our church better. By the way, Small Groups are coming back in January! Please fill out that survey on Sunday and help us make the wisest decisions.

Also, we are getting very close to the Christmas Wrap-Up. This is one of the biggest opportunities we have during the year to show our community that we care about them. This care opens the door for the love of God and His Word to reach them. Quite often during Jesus' ministry He healed and fed people before getting into the teaching part of His work. His care and power opened the door. That's what we want to do here. 

The Wrap-Up isn't just for a few people. This is something we want everyone to be a part of. I hope you will be part of our Christmas Wrap-Up!

1. Brad and the Youth leaders attended a Youth Worker Conference in Moncton where they received valuable insights in how to make youth ministry stronger!

2. Five hundred invitations for Christmas Eve were handed out at the Christmas Parade.

3. Our Christmas is the Worst event went really well, seeing a number of people attend to get support and have some meaningful conversations.

4. We dedicated 4 kids on Sunday!

5. Many of you signed up for the grocery boxes and to purchase presents for families in need, which is was fantastic! Keep it up!!!

We have all felt, in varying degrees, the sting of betrayal. They are those wrongs that go beyond just an injustice or violation and bring with it the bitter bite of having trust and intimacy used against you. It makes the wrong personal. These aren't simply detached actions; they are personal rejections. That's how God see our sin.

Annual Christmas Wrap-Up

Saturday Dec 9th, 10am

Join us as we serve our community through a number of projects including:

- Packing Food Boxes for Those in Need
- Free Gift-Wrapping
- Gifts for Families in Need
- And Other Support Projects 

Meet at the church at 10am to volunteer and help with one of our many projects.

If you're interested in getting your presents wrapped, you will find us at the Amherst Centre Mall and Dayle's Grand Market.

Families are invited to join us for a fun Christmas Party where we’ll build a Gingerbread nativity, play games, sing songs, and learn about the First Christmas ever. It’s going to be a BASH!

Space is Limited, Pre-Registration is Required.

Amherst Celebrates Christmas Eve at Amherst Wesleyan Church

Services at 5pm & 6:30pm

Special Music, Classic Christmas Carols, Snacks & Glow Sticks for the Kids, a Dramatic Presentation, a Candle-Light Closing, and all in 45 minutes or less (Or your money back! Jk, it’s free.)

There won't be a normal service Sunday morning on Christmas Eve, but there will be a casual gathering with breakfast provided.

A night of worship. Songs, Prayer, and creative elements will be used to set aside time to simply focus on God and give Him glory.

On Break Until Jan 10th. 

Join us at the West Highlands Elementary Gymnasium for games and lessons designed to help kids grow in their confidence and character development. 

For kids in Grades Primary to 6

Do you need to get out of the house so you can talk to other adults? Do your kids need to get out of the house so they can play with other kids and have some space to run around?

Come check out our casual play group on Thursdays. There is no agenda and parents are responsible for their own children. Our basement space is a large open space and perfect for letting kids run and play together!
